Directions to conference
Trams 7, 9, 10 and 14 all stop at Milchbuck near Irchel campus. Below is a map of Irchel campus that includes the Milchbuck stop (green marker). The red line shows how to get from the Milchbuck stop to room Y13 M12 on Irchel campus (yellow marker) where AUTOMATA 2016 will be hosted. To follow this route cross the park adjacent to the Milchbuck stop, go over the bridge and continue up the steps until you are in front of the stone sculpture, walk to the left of the stone sculpture heading down some steps and enter the building with the glass door marked Y13 (it is about 40 meters past the stone sculpture). Once inside the building go straight through the second set of glass doors and follow the signs for AUTOMATA 2016 which will direct you to an elevator that will take you to floor M placing you directly in front of room Y13 M12.

Conference dinner
The conference dinner is at LaSalle restaurant at 20:30 on Thursday the 16th.
To get to the restaurant from the Milchbuck stop take the 72 bus to the Shiffbau stop (this takes about 8 mins), walk down the steps near the the Shiffbau stop and up Shiffbaustrasse for about 50 meters and the restaurant is on your right.
To get to the restaurant from the main train station take the 4 tram to the Shiffbau stop (this takes about 8 mins) and then walk back in the direction you have come from on the tram for about 50 meters, turn left onto Shiffbaustrasse walk for another 50 meters and the restaurant is on your right.

Irchel Campus and city of Zurich
Irchel Campus located in the picturesque Irchelpark which is only a 10 minute tram ride from Zurich city center. This affords AUTOMATA 2016 participants an excellent opportunity to explore the city of Zurich and its many attractions .Excursion to Mount Pilatus
We will take the train from Zurich main station to Luzern and from there we will enjoy a scenic ride as we take the gondola lift to the top of Mount Pilatus. Once there you can relax and enjoy the stunning views and get a snack in the resturant, or if you prefer you can hike around the top of Mount Pilatus. On our return journey we will once again enjoy wonderful views as we descend the other side of the mountain by cog wheel train.
